S/Y "Angeliki" Beneteau Oceanis 461 (4 cab)
The 461 is essentially the same Bruce Farr hull that was used on the First 45f5, and the Oceanis 440 with 2.5 feet added to the waterline at the stern and a new designed deck. Lately the boat was replaced with the 473 designed by the Finot Group but still is a masterpiece.
We prefer the 461 as she is beautiful standing still or under sail. She accelerates quickly and is easily sailed solo or by two people and handles like a dream in all conditions. She loves 18-25 knots and ghost nicely in 5 knots. The 461 will generally do about a little better than half the wind speed. Our boat “Angeliki" is fitted out with a roller furling main for easy setting and reefing and 19" three bladed propeller for fast motoring.
Coupled with the Volvo 60 hp engine she will cruise easily at 8 knots. It is in perfect condition well maintained and fully equipped. The Interior four (4) cabins two (2) heads is luxurious well thought out, and comfortable for eight (8) adults .
The large galley along the port side is great for multi "would-be" chefs to work side by side. The 2m headroom and 4,25m beam provides space aplenty. All in all the 461 is the perfect boat for cruising and one of the best sailing boats Beneteau shipyard ever made.
This boat is completely renewed in early 2010.
